I take Tufail Ahmad’s posts on SM with a bushel of salt,they are predominantly pro Islamic but his off the cuff opinions are unimplementable&of no benefit to Hindus/India. I agree with the fact that faith must a personal/private matter.All display of organized faith in public places must stop.Further encroaching upon others’ faith/belief/mind space with ulterior motives as practiced by proselitysing religions is/has been most harmful to humanity.

Why Preferential Treatment? A new Nation was delivered on the mid-night of 14 Aug 1947 by Nehru.A new set of laws,Constitution,Political system came into place.All Indians became EQUAL. But did they?People stopped doing traditional jobs which were considered menial,punishable if someone engaged ,insulted, abused them. Then why there was negative discrimination in the guise of setting right mostly imaginary injustices though none of the present generation practices any.Why 70 crore victimized GENERALS were deprived of State ‘equality’ for 67 years ,3 generations just for the CURSE OF BIRTH? Affirmative action for the BIRTH PRIVILEGED AND NEGATIVE DISCRIMINATION to those cursed by birth must be applied only when the privileged (reserved class) continue with their traditional vocations;why otherwise?

VICTIM& PRIVILEGED. How come despite attaining freedom,constitution,laws,enjoying caste reservations in Education,Jobs,exclusive Political/financial power for 3 generations the beneficiaries are taken as backward,poor,illiterate etc for granted? On the other hand those victims of negative State discrimination for 67 years,having got NO State benefits for the curse of their BIRTH are assumed as rich,educated,forward and in no need of anything except getting choice abuses by politicians and people as or sons of TORMENTERS for NO FAULT OF THEIRS. This is precisely which must be reversed to make India a DEVELOPED NATION. Till then such systematic ‘murder of talent’ shall keep us as a ‘backward’ or DEVELOPING NATION.

Height of Injustice. The VICTIMIZED GENERALS are not only denied Jobs& Education as per merit but also been BLOCKED out of all State managed schemes even for self employment/gainful occupation on their own. While talent/merit is buried under ‘misplaced priorities’, mediocrity, ad-hocism flourishes. Just by following the words and actions of the ‘powers that be’ one can SEE that Govt wants to keep GENERALS out of nation’s resources for ever despite their eligibility/talent/merit and perseverence.

Govt NO/NO to GENERALS. With the continuing ‘negative discrimination’ to the GENERALS in the name of affirmative action they are effectively banished from all State benefits.This action is so sugar coated by politicians as if the GENERALS are/have been TORMENTORS instead of VICTIMS; a situation FALSELY created to make the GENERALS go into defensive mode and accept all injustice without a murmer as they have been doing for last 67 years.
